The Midway Baptist Church was established in 1871. During the journey over the decades the Pastors and leaders that God have adhered to the one true mission of the church; to win souls to Jesus Christ, have spiritually led us. We are witnesses to the levels of growth in our family of believers through the word of God. Lives have been saved and changed; and the support and encouragement will continue. We are trusting God for all things, for we walk by faith and not by sight.(II Corinthians 5:7)
Midway Baptist Church is a diverse church that will train, teach, pray for and pray with. In II Timothy 2:15 states " study the word to shew thyself approved". Here we will study the word, so we can go into the hedges and highways and tell those that don't have a relationship with God, (Romans 6:23) "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life". Once we begin to study His word and get it on the inside (in our heart) and live by his commandments we will see and experience the greatness of God. We are a church moving forward under the unction of the Holy Spirit.
